1. Core Product Design

BarberAtlas is designed as a local-first barbershop management app. Core shop information such as services, queue activity, clients, sales, settings, and reports is primarily stored on your device rather than in BarberAtlas-controlled permanent cloud storage.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Depending on the features you use, the app may store business data on your Android device, including shop configuration, worker profiles, client details, queue activity, sales history, reports, exports, and backup state.

You control this information through your device, app settings, backups, and any deletion actions you trigger inside the app.

3. Google Sign-In and Google Drive Backup

If you choose to connect a Google account, BarberAtlas may use Google Sign-In and Google Drive access to support backup, restore, and related account-linked features. Backup files are written to your Google Drive account.

4. Temporary Sync Relay Processing

BarberAtlas may use Supabase-powered services for membership, auth, realtime fan-out, and temporary sync relay behavior between devices in the same shop. This temporary relay is not intended to be permanent business storage.

5. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Crash Reporting

BarberAtlas may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or similar diagnostic tools to understand reliability, errors, purchase flows, and important operational events.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Pro subscriptions are handled through Google Play. BarberAtlas does not store your full payment card details. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and regional pricing are controlled by Google Play.

7. Website Data

The BarberAtlas website may be hosted through Netlify or similar providers. Standard hosting logs, security logs, or basic analytics may be processed to keep the website secure and available.

8. Data Deletion and Retention

You can remove app data through supported in-app actions, device uninstall, local reset actions, or deletion of files from your Google Drive account where applicable. Some temporary service-side processing may persist briefly for sync or operational reasons before expiring.

9. Children

BarberAtlas is intended for business and shop-management use. It is not designed as a product directed to children.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product, infrastructure, or legal changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
